Trenlock’s Brand New Man

Brooks is out of the first Trenlock Retrievers Labrador litter, Bentley x Ace litter. Brooks is one handsome, talented dog. He hunts hard every waterfowl season as a guide dog for NEW Outdoors. He picked up over 100 birds in his first season hunting, starting at about 8 months old. He has continued to pick up just as many, if not more, birds each season. He has a great drive and love for the retrieve. Brooks marks well, sits quietly on the line, loves to swim, and works as a team with his handler. He takes direction well and is softer to pressure. He’s a smart but silly guy who’s happy to hunt, work, train, or hang out. Brooks is a happy-go-lucky dog who is delighted to be included in anything.

Brooks has a large, solid build with a blockier head. He has beautiful structure and is about 65lbs. He has a solid athletic build. Brooks is co-owned, residing in the co-owner’s home. He will periodically stay with us for training.

Brooks will be added to the Trenlock Retrievers Breeding Program upon completing and passing all health testing outlined by the Labrador Retriever Club and achieving performance titles.

  • Brooks will be completely health tested in accordance with the Labrador Retriever Club of America including:

    OFA Hips

    OFA Elbows

    Eye CAER

    Cardiac Evaluation

    Genetic testing: EIC, CNM, Prcd-PRA, & Dilute coloration: CLEAR via Embark

    Color: Black, yellow factored

  • Brooks will begin running hunt tests and obtaining titles soon!

  • Brooks will NOT be available at stud until health testing is complete

    Brooks will be available at stud to approved bitches that have completed health testing and performance titles.

    Fresh and Fresh chilled semen will be available for breeding.
