Trenlock’s Fallen Apollo

Lester is a very cool male out of our first Golden Retriever litter with Topper and Seven. He is co-owned and lives in South Dakota with his family. Here is what they have to say about Lester: “Lester is the perfect combination of your typical loving golden retriever and high drive hunting dog. An extremely intelligent boy who needs minimal correcting and catches on quickly to whatever you’re training. Lester is also very goofy and full of confidence; he’s not afraid to try anything. His pedigree is already on full display with his love for birds, swimming, and running long marks. He has a soft mouth but firm hold on live birds even without force fetch training. His bird drive and visual tracking are through the roof already, and we cannot wait to get him in the field!”

At 5 months old, Lester began his hunting career on a dove hunt. His owners said that he did great overall, with a few puppy mistakes to work on as he grows. He has also learned that he loves the dock diving pool and will surely make a big splash in the sport when he is older. We are very excited to watch him grow and mature! His family has big plans for him and his future.

Lester will be added to the Trenlock Retrievers Breeding Program after completing health testing and obtaining performance titles.
